Pinus Silvestris - In fairness this isn’t a fast moving product – we nevertheless stock this to ensure that clients are always well serviced.

Fagus Sylvatica - Regular Beech and Steamed Beech from our European Suppliers. The Steamed Beech is a Pollmeier (German) Product. All boards are perfectly calibrated and kiln dried. We tend to import these in 23cm wide boards – an added service to those who prefer wide boards in this type of timber.

Milicia Excelsa - Typically a difficult timber to source and one we’re rather strong in. We currently can offer 3 different grades in a variety of thicknesses, lengths and widths – and we’re always well stocked.

Entandrophragma Utile - A warm, dense timber ideal for furniture use. The tree that can grow to a 40 MT  – 50 MT length is found in Tropical Africa.

Lavoa Trichilioides - The tree grows in West Tropical Africa and can typically reach a 45 MT length. It is generally easy to work with and its closely related to Mahogany.

America’s trump card is sustainability and re plantation processes. America was indeed the first country to understand the need and the importance of reforestation. A variety of American Timber we import can be found below.

Quercus Alba - Probably the most notorious of American Wood – White Oak. A Light to Medium Coloured timber that has so many uses and found in so many homes. This is a long lived tree that grows best in Eastern and Central North America. On a light note – Wine is aged in Oak, as is Bourbon Whiskey! We import this both in FAS | Prime Grade and in Common Select in all the three main thicknesses.

Juglans Nigra - A rather special tree that amounts to a mere 2% of all trees in the USA, hence not always straight forward to source in the desired lengths and widths. The wood is deep brown / Blackish and it’s fairly easy to work with.

Liriodendrum Tulipifera – Known as the Tulip tree. This is one of the largest of the native trees of Eastern US. It’s a widely used for interior finish of houses and wooden ware. Its creamy to yellow coloured and can typically have pale green to purple and at times even black streaks.

Prunus Serotina - Cherry varies from rich red to reddish brown and darkens with age. This tree grows in the Northern and Lake States. Its main uses are for fine furniture, boat interiors and even musical instruments.

cer Saccharum - Maple is the State Tree of Wisconsin and has a creamy white to a pale reddish colour. The boards are fine and have a constant texture and are rather straight grained. Widely used for flooring, furniture and kitchen cabinets.

Alnus Incana - An interesting wood that is found in the Pacific Northwest. The tree grows well on land that suffered fire, earthquakes or logging.  It’s almost white when cut but changes to a light brown to yellowish with speed. Its main uses are for furniture and kitchen cabinets. The genus Alnus (Alder) belongs to the Birch family.

We import this from Europe, mainly from Sonae and Intasa. We’re generally well stocked with all the variants of this product and imports are frequent.

Regular | Exterior Grade | Marine Grade Plywood

We import furniture grade plywood with a strong and well placed core. We also import two types of Exterior Grade Plywood. This plywood carries the same glue as that found in Marine Plywood however the treatment and length of time the board is put under pressure | heat is less than that of Marine Plywood.

The Marine Plywood we import is veneered with Okume – a tropical wood.

We only stock this product in Hard Wood core. It works out to be slightly more expensive but ultimately, it’s by far a more serious product that lasts much longer

We stock boards produced by Lama – Leaders in this field. We currently have 4 lengths all at 500mmwidth and a 27mm thickness. 

Just like the Yellow Shuttering Boards above, the H20 Beams are produced by Lama. We currently can offer these in 7 different lengths, in 200mm X 80mm

We have an outstanding relationship with Gherardi, the Italian manufacturers of this product. We have two types of jacks that come in an excellent quality and competitive prices. This, in fact, is one of the latest products we added to our portfolio.

Light Green in colour, 95g/m2, double weave – this product offers 85% shading and comes in rolls that are 2MT X 100MT and 3MT X 100MT.

Tarpaulin Sheets in 100g/M2 – ideal to cover items on a building site, create shading or to use as a base to picnic on! These sheets have 6 stainless steel eyelets and come in two sizes, mainly 3MT X 3.5MT and 3.5MT X 5MT

Membrane Rolls both smooth and grained. Supplied by Geco these rolls come in a 4kg / MT2.
